Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Playhouse ("the Service"), operated by Playhouse AI ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Playhouse is a 3D world creation and content production platform. The Service allows users to create 3D worlds, animate characters, record content, and publish directly to social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and others.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain all intellectual property rights to content you create using Playhouse, including 3D worlds, scenes, characters, recordings, and exported videos. We do not claim ownership of your content.

License to Us: By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

5. Social Media Publishing

Playhouse enables you to connect and publish content to third-party social media platforms. By using these features:

  • You authorize Playhouse to upload content to connected platforms on your behalf, but only when you explicitly initiate a publish action
  • You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with each platform's community guidelines and terms of service
  • Playhouse will never post content without your explicit confirmation
  • You can disconnect any platform at any time from your account settings
  • Content published to third-party platforms is subject to those platforms' terms and policies

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to create or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Use the Service to distribute malware or engage in phishing
  • Use the Service to spam, mislead, or harass others on connected platforms
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use automated means to bulk-create or bulk-publish content in violation of platform guidelines

7. AI-Generated Content

Playhouse uses AI services (including World Labs, fal.ai, and others) to generate 3D worlds, images, and other content. AI-generated content may be subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers. You are responsible for reviewing and ensuring your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable laws and platform community guidelines when publishing.

8. Fees and Payment

Playhouse may offer free and paid tiers. We will clearly communicate any fees before you are charged. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will make reasonable efforts to allow you to export your content before deletion. Connected third-party services will be automatically disconnected upon account deletion.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee the availability or functionality of any third-party platform integrations.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Playhouse AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. This includes any issues arising from content published to third-party platforms through the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Playhouse AI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
